Job Summary
Scalevisory is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized Accounting & Payroll Administrator to support our growing financial and operational needs. In this role, you will provide both consulting and administrative support to our clients across Alberta.

The successful candidate contributes innovative ideas to payroll and service delivery while managing multiple client payroll accounts and addressing each client's unique needs.
As an Accounting & Payroll Administrator, you will handle bookkeeping, payroll processing, cash flow planning, tax remittances, asset auditing, and provide financial insights to support operational decisions. Success in this role requires professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Communicate clearly with Operations, Project Coordinators, Leadership, and vendors to ensure financial expectations are understood.
- Foster a positive small-office environment by building and maintaining strong working relationships with team members.
- Conduct annual asset audits and prepare verification and valuation reports.
- Process and submit payroll accurately, ensuring all records, deductions, and remittances are correct.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and advise on vendor payment timing to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Manage GST, payroll tax, and other remittances using the Tax and File system to ensure timely payments.
- Maintain organized financial records and filing systems to support audits.
- Support Operations with budgeting, monitoring spending, and reporting variances.
- Perform accurate QuickBooks data entry, including remittances, payments, and account reconciliations.
- Travel occasionally to branch offices for audits, financial reviews, or operational support.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting administration, or payroll.
- QuickBooks experience is required.
- Experience supporting operations with budget controls, variance reporting, or expense oversight (an asset).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, payroll administration, and financial workflows.
- Canadian Payroll Association PCP qualification and/or relevant experience.
- Knowledge of federal and provincial payroll regulations and legislation.
- Professional, positive attitude with the ability to build strong working relationships across departments.
