AOC is publicly traded on the TSX under the symbol "ATH" with a market capitalization of $3 Billion and was recognized as number one total shareholder returning Energy company over the last three years and the number three company on the entire TSX (across all sectors).Payroll Administrator - ContractorWe are currently recruiting for a Contract Payroll Administrator to provide expertise and experience in all matters related to payroll. This part-time position is responsible for processing payroll for approximately 200 employees across all sites and head office, as well as coordinating benefits administration and WCB management.Responsibilities:Input payroll data accurately including new hires, terminations, salary, and allowance changesProcess hourly, salary and other payroll related payments (bonuses and long-term incentive payments) accurately using Ceridian Dayforce on a semi-monthly basisIssue Record of Employment forms for separations of employmentMonthly payroll reporting to finance team as well as quarterly and year-end reconciliations to CRAResponsible for maintaining and continuously improving payroll procedures and processesReporting to Canada Revenue Agency (T4's, CPP, etc), and Worker's CompensationAnswer all employee inquiries arising from questions regarding payrollManage vacation annual entitlements and approval system and reporting within Ceridian DayforceManage benefits administration (RBC and Sunlife) and balance premium statements to payroll reportsProvide ad hoc support to the Human Resources department as requiredQualifications:Canadian payroll certification or equivalentMinimum 5 years of payroll experience in a fast-paced environmentIdeal candidate has demonstrated proficiency with Ceridian Dayforce and Microsoft ExcelMust be able to handle confidential information in an ethical and professional manner • Strong work ethic, positive team attitude, attention to detail and a high degree of accuracySound analytical thinking, problem solving, planning, prioritization, and execution skillsAbility to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanorWe thank you in advance for your interest and note that only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
