Leasing Coordinator – Multi Residential Properties
COGIR Real Estate is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Leasing Coordinator to join our team. The Leasing Coordinator will play a vital part in supporting our leasing staff while ensuring a seamless experience for prospective and current residents. The Leasing Coordinator will manage incoming leads, coordinate leasing activities, and assist with the move-in process from start to finish, while also contributing to resident retention efforts across our portfolio. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced field environment, likes to interact with people, and is ready to grow within a collaborative team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across new and growing properties in Cambridge, Guelph, and beyond, primarily at our
London
site with future rotation opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Management
Manage and track all leads through the CRM system.
- Respond promptly to inquiries, providing accurate and engaging information about available units.
- Schedule and confirm viewings with prospective residents.
Conduct timely follow-ups to maximize conversion of leads to leases.
Leasing Support
Assist with the application process, ensuring accuracy and completion of required documentation.
- Support lease creation and execution in coordination with the leasing team.
- Participate in day-to-day leasing activities, including property showings.
Attend open houses and resident events to help support leasing & retention efforts.
Move-In Coordination
Assist with the move-in process, ensuring a smooth transition for new residents.
- Coordinate with on-site staff to prepare units for occupancy.
Provide excellent customer service to new residents during onboarding.
Resident Retention
Support retention strategies across the portfolio, including resident communication, renewals, and customer service initiatives.
- Assist with resident engagement activities and respond promptly to inquiries or concerns.
Work closely with leasing and property management teams to ensure a positive resident experience.
Administrative Support
Maintain organized and accurate resident and leasing records.
- Track all suite availability across the portfolio.
- Support the on-site leasing and administrative teams with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in leasing, property management, or customer service preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Yardi, CRM systems (Knock is a plus), and Microsoft Office.
- Professional, friendly, and service-oriented approach.
Work Environment
- Full-time position
- Work Location: On-site/Field-based (London, ON)
- Travel surrounding cities (Cambridge, and Guelph) – Mileage reimbursement for inter-site travel
- Availability: Typically 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with flexibility for evening coverage up to 7:30 PM. Saturday availability is required, with openness to occasional Sundays and holidays depending on operational needs.
What We Offer
- Salary range: $45,000 – $60,000 plus leasing commission.
