Job Summary
A a well-established CPA firm located in Vancouver is seeking a full-time intermedia to senior level accountant to join us. This candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Prepare compilation financial statements;
- Assist to prepare reviewed/audit financial statements preparation;
- T1, T2 and T3 returns preparation and related personal and corporation income tax planning;
- Payroll, GST/PST filing and bookkeeping.
Experience
- University degree, better to have an accounting or related degree;
- Proven experience as Staff Accountant or similar role in the public practice environment;
- Proficiency in accounting and tax softwares including Caseware, QuickBooks, Profile and Miscrosoft Excel;
- Strong computer skills and familiar with Caseware, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Profile;
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting;
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting;
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively;
- Be open minded and open to learn as the job progresses;
- Must have excellent communication skills dealing with clients and customers in both verbal and written English, enjoy a fast paced environment; and
- Must speak fluent Mandarin and/ or Cantonese.
