Position Title: Director of Staff Augmentation

Position Summary:

The Director of Staff Augmentation is a role to execute the staff augmentation and recruitment services.  Working closely with the Sales, Presales, and Services teams, the Director provides direction and mentoring, in conjunction with consultative services to new and existing clients.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Business Execution

  • Own and drive the engagement of Staff Augmentation across customers
  • Working with Sales to commit to adoption and expansion of Services across all customers
  • Develop a solution to provide ongoing support and updates/upgrades in customer environment
  • Ensure we have a plan for enablement of our staff in support of our strategy
  • Leverage practice services to help drive more long-term Managed Services
  • Support and contribute to customer offer development which is a company-wide methodology we use to develop new solutions
  • Plan practice capacity and capability to routinely assess and determine resource headcount and geographic coverage strategy
  • Leverage sales funnel and staff planning to plan resources needs for practice additions, changes, training, or development plan

Technical/Position Delivery

Technical Methodology

  • Routinely work with Sales and Marketing to develop market strategies
  • To ensure SOW Quality, establish a process to approve all SOWs prior to customer distribution for quality use of templates, timelines, pricing, approach, technology risks to ensure we manage risks, objectives, and customer success
  • Work with Consultants and Contractors to ensure the solution delivery aligns with customer expectation and Charter reputation.

Practice Execution

  • Enhance a practice catalogue of resources aligned outlining capabilities
  • Regularly collaborate Practice specific and cross practice vision and planning sessions across the company to share vision and practice plans with SE's, Solution Architects and Sales
  • Educating all team members on the Charter value proposition and end-to-end portfolio GTM
  • Routinely direct Practice specific solution education sessions in supported groups across the country in conjunction with sales targeted to customers
  • Providing on-going coaching and mentoring; Soft Skill training for positioning and awareness of practice capabilities for sales and services teams

Vendor Relationship Management

  • Develop Practice vendor strategies including partnership levels, product portfolio, and competencies but aligned with sales and marketing

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 10+ years of experience in the IT industry, specifically in the area of staff augmentation and resourcing
  • Experience assessing/providing clients and customers with IT staffing solutions
  • Project Management experience an asset.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to support the growth/expansion of the Services team.
  • Strong analytical and planning skills coupled with an independent, objective and process-oriented way of working
  • Excellent communication and coordination strength as well as assertiveness
  • Excellent presentation skills up to top management level
  • Ability to work under pressure and solutions focused
