Position Summary
The role engages with the Financial Advisor community to understand their needs and act as a reverse mortgage expert by initiating and managing sales conversations, building relationships, and guiding financial advisors through the sales process remotely. The BDA Wealth collaborates closely with the in-field sales team, maintains accurate records of interactions, and contributes to achieving sales targets.

MAJOR ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE
Key Accountabilities Of This Position Include

  • Generate revenue and achieve individual, team, and organizational quotas, while also contributing to sales strategy by defining and implementing plans to achieve sales objectives for a defined territory, managing it remotely
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets contributing to the overall organizational objectives
  • Effectively manage sales opportunities by either:

  • Selectively acting as the primary contact from origination to funding supporting both internal partners and the financial advisor where virtual contact is optimal

  • Or selectively transitioning financial advisors and opportunities to the in-field sales partner where in-person sales contact is optimal

  • Develop a sales approach that focuses on creating relationships through exceptional customer service and deep product-knowledge to recommend HEB products

  • Assist with the onboarding of new financial advisors
  • Maintain and grow relationships within the financial advisor community by providing outstanding and efficient service and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage assigned relationships via Salesforce and ensure continuous improvements are made to our Salesforce database
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, underwriting, and other sales teams to ensure a coordinated and efficient approach to serving the advisor community
  • Build a collaborative sales partnership with the assigned in-field BDM's
  • Team up with the local Business Development Manager on attending industry trade shows and events acting as the HEB contact for the market, promoting HEB as a trusted solution, and network for new relationships

Skills And Experience Required
Qualifications and Technical Expertise:

  • Progressive financial services Inside Sales experience, in credit or wealth management preferred
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent
  • Experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM
