Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and organized Fulfillment Manager to oversee warehouse distribution operations. The ideal candidate will coordinate order processing, manage shipping and receiving, and ensure efficient operation of heavy equipment such as forklifts and cranes. This role requires strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and extensive warehouse experience to maintain smooth fulfillment processes and meet operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily warehouse distribution activities, including order picking, load and unload operations, and shipping & receiving.
  • Oversee the operation of heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and other heavy lifting machinery to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Manage inventory using warehouse management systems to track stock levels, order status, and shipment schedules.
  • Coordinate with construction teams or other departments for the movement of large or heavy items requiring specialized equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse procedures.
  • Lead a team of warehouse staff, including order pickers and equipment operators, providing training and performance feedback.
  • Optimize warehouse layout for efficient order fulfillment and space utilization.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and inventory adjustments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related logistics roles.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other material handling machinery.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently; certifications for forklift or crane operation are preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical capability for heavy lifting and performing manual tasks associated with warehouse operations.
  • Prior experience in construction or industrial environments is a plus.

Pay: $49,338.22-$54,608.86 per year
