Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Representative in Quebec to join our team.
As a Technical Sales Representative in Quebec at Tapflo Canada, you'll be part of a dynamic and supportive environment where innovation, integrity, and personal growth are at the core of everything we do. You'll represent a high-quality product portfolio designed and manufactured in Europe, known for robust performance and tailored solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of pumps and fluid handling equipment, excellent sales skills, can select a pump and make capable of making technical decision and a drive to exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Quebec province, focusing on industrial pump solutions.
- Establish and maintain professional business relations with existing and new customers.
- Prospect, generate, and qualify sales opportunities and leads; provide recommendations.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients, understanding their specific requirements.
- Visit customers to review products and applications, evaluate and recommend custom pump solutions to suit individual customer needs.
- Conduct sales calls/meetings with new and existing customers; follow up on prior orders/ongoing applications, and close orders.
- Provide top quality field technical sales support to customers for pump products and pump systems.
- Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals in response to customer needs.
- CRM management: report on sales activities (customer visits, important phone calls, etc.); create, submit, track, and update statuses of all proposals and quotations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new existing and potential customers to drive sales growth.
- Provide technical support and advice to clients both before and after the sale.
- Attend site visits to support customers with onsite needs.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure timely delivery of products and solutions.
- Prepare and submit regular sales and activity reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
- Represent the Company in tradeshows.
- Work towards fulfillment of professional development goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-year proven experience in sales and technical support of pumps and fluid handling equipment.
- Excellent knowledge of different types of pumps and their applications.
- Strong technical and commercial acumen with a customer-focused mindset.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Must reside in the Greater Montreal Area.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the province.
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Fully bilingual (French and English).
Work environment:
- Work remotely from either your vehicle or your home office
- Energetic and fast-moving setting within a highly competitive industry.
- Regular interaction with customers and internal teams through phone calls, emails, virtual meetings and customer visits.
- Frequent exposure to tight deadlines, shifting priorities, multitasking, and occasional interruptions.
- Local travel to customer locations required 60–70% of the time.
- Occasional overnight and long-distance travel to customer sites (approximately 10%).
- Must occasionally be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive salary: as per manufacturing market standard, based on experience and qualifications (base salary + commission). Pay: $70, $100,000.00 per year.

Nous recherchons un Représentant Technico-Commercial dynamique et expérimenté pour la province de Québec.

Le candidat idéal possède :
Une connaissance approfondie des pompes et équipements de transfert de fluides, d'excellentes compétences commerciales et la capacité de sélectionner une pompe et de prendre des décisions techniques et une forte motivation pour dépasser les attentes des clients.
Responsabilités principales :
- Identifier et développer de nouvelles opportunités d'affaires au Québec, axées sur les solutions de pompage industriel
- Établir et maintenir des relations professionnelles avec les clients existants et potentiels
- Prospecter, générer et qualifier des opportunités commerciales et des leads, puis formuler des recommandations adaptées
- Réaliser des présentations techniques et des démonstrations de produits en fonction des besoins spécifiques des clients
- Effectuer des visites clients pour examiner les applications et recommander des solutions personnalisées
- Organiser des appels et réunions de vente, assurer le suivi des commandes et conclure des ventes
- Fournir un support technico-commercial de qualité sur le terrain pour les produits et systèmes de pompage
- Préparer des propositions techniques et commerciales détaillées
- Gérer les activités dans le CRM : suivi des propositions, devis et rapports de visites
- Développer et entretenir des relations solides avec les clients afin de stimuler la croissance des ventes
- Fournir un support technique avant et après-vente
- Participer à des visites de sites pour répondre aux besoins des clients
- Collaborer avec l'équipe interne pour assurer la livraison rapide des solutions
- Rédiger et soumettre des rapports de ventes, prévisions et analyses de marché
- Représenter l'entreprise lors de salons professionnels
- Travailler à l'atteinte d'objectifs de développement professionnel
Exigences :
- Minimum 1 an d'expérience confirmée en vente et support technique de pompes ou équipements de transfert de fluides
- Excellente connaissance des différents types de pompes et de leurs applications
- Solide sens technique et commercial, orienté client
- Autonomie, motivation et excellentes compétences en communication et présentation
- Résider dans la grande région de Montréal
- Véhicule personnel.
- Permis de conduire valide et disponibilité pour voyager dans la province
- Diplôme ou formation en génie mécanique ou domaine connexe (atout)
- Bilinguisme complet (français et anglais)
