As a TELUS Events and Sales Representative, you will be building awareness for the TELUS brand at the local level to the communities we serve and offering exciting digital TELUS products and services to potential customers that will help them stay connected, comfortable and safe at all times.

**What You Will Do**:

- Proactively reach out to local businesses, building managers and community groups with the goal to generate event and sales partnership opportunities.
- Coordinate activities for events and campaigns to drive TELUS brand awareness in the field.
- Promote and sell mobility, internet and smart home and security product and services.
- Collaborate with various internal teams to provide white-glove service to partnered businesses, building and community groups.
- Train and motivate sales partners on how to drive mutual benefits through lasting customer relationships, winning the hearts and minds of the community, one person at a time.
- Continuously seek opportunities to further evolve and improve marketing, sales and fulfillment practices.

**Required Skills and Abilities**:

- Self-starter with entrepreneurial ambitions
- Strong relationship building abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer-centric and results-driven
- Proven organizational, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
- Thriving in fast paced environments
- Excellent research skills and a passion for event planning
- Good skills in Excel
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to cope with ambiguity
- Have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license
- Be able and willing to work in the field and at event venues

**Great-to-Haves**:

- Post-secondary and/or technical school degree or similar experience
- 2+ years of marketing, sales and/or customer support experience
- 1+ years’ experience with telecom and/or home security products
- Experience in event planning and management
- Experience with TELUS products and service offerings

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:
