Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our market presence. You will leverage your expertise in business development, strategic planning, and customer relationship management to identify new opportunities and foster strong relationships with clients.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives.
  • Identify potential clients and market opportunities through research and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective promotional strategies that align with business goals.
  • Conduct negotiations with clients to secure contracts and close deals effectively.
  • Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data.
  • Prepare reports on business development activities, market trends, and competitive analysis for senior management.
  • Oversee project management initiatives related to new client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Lead discovery, solution design, proposals, and contract negotiations to close net-new revenue.
  • Source and manage channel/installation partners, OEMs, utilities, and real-estate networks to accelerate deal flow.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years in B2B sales or business development, ideally in tech, energy, or EV charging (hardware + SaaS/subscriptions/services).
  • Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably in a managerial capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM software and marketing tools is essential for managing client relationships effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and execution to drive business growth.
  • Proficient in project management principles with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
