Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor

We are looking for an individual who is friendly, organized and has great attention to detail. A background with computer and customer service skills are highly sought after. General Front Desk duties include answering the main switchboard, taking reservations, checking guests in and out, security checks around the property, performing cash out and clerk balancing reports. Hotel Front Desk experience is preferred, however complete training is available. Front Desk must be flexible with morning and evening shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides customer service through the completion of routine duties and tasks such as handling all calls, taking and relaying messages, and providing basic clerical support to the Front Desk

  • Must have exceptional time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure


•Delivers exceptional customer service to guests by clearly communicating and resolving challenges to guest satisfaction

  • Answer inquiries regarding hotel services and registration by telephone and in person, provide information about services available in the community and respond to guests' complaints

  • Compile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts and vouchers using computerized or manual systems

  • Performs payment transactions to departing guests

  • Be familiar with all hotel services, amenities, and policies

  • Develop/maintain positive working relationships; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.

  • Follow company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.

  • Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous hotel-related and sales experience preferred

  • Ability to communicate with the public, hotel staff, and management in a professional manner

  • Knowledge of the surrounding area and local events

  • Knowledge of proper telephone etiquette

  • Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Excellent communication skills; speaks English

  • Professional attitude, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$19.75 per hour
