Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent

The Super 8 Prince George is looking for a Front Desk Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The selected candidate will be responsible for insuring 100% guest satisfaction from the moment the guest arrives until the guest departs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Check guests in and out while providing a pleasant experience.
  • Issue room keys, pamphlets, vouchers, etc.
  • Answer questions and inquiries about attractions, dining reservations, events, etc.
  • Handle Cash, Debit, and Credit Card authorizations.
  • Review all credit card vouchers for proper imprints, authorizations and correct amounts.
  • Verify and balance daily charges to customer folios, master accounts and house accounts.
  • Observe and report any security issues to management.
  • Close daily financial batches, PMS, and reconcile receipts.
  • Investigate any anomalies found between daily reports and takings.
  • Organize and issue external/internal billing statements.
  • Additional duties as required by management.

Skills and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong computer skills necessary including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. Previous experience with a property management system an asset.
  • Detail-oriented and an experienced problem solver. Able to multi-task and handle multiple priorities.
  • A team player with positive attitude.
  • Eagerness to exceed guest expectations.
  • Ability to work weekends and statutory holidays if necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
