We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. This role is crucial in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring smooth operations during the night shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Greet and check-in guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Manage reservations and maintain accurate records using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software, such as Cloudbeds.
  • Perform nightly audits of accounts, ensuring accuracy in billing and financial reporting.
  • Assist with the checkout process, including processing payments and providing receipts.
  • Maintain the front desk area in a clean and organized manner.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to enhance guest experiences and resolve issues promptly.
  • Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities to guests.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
  • Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and hotel management software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
