Hi, we're Mizunara, nice to meet you

We're a 60+ seat Japanese whisky cocktail bar that offers some lovely food to pair with the aforementioned whisky and cocktails. Our concept focuses on familial service, local ingredients, and a smooth whisky base for many of our drinks, all set in a warm and elevated atmosphere.

We're looking for a server to join us who wants to learn more about Canadian / Asian food & drink and deeply cares about making memorable experiences for our guests.

Requirements:

  • A passion for people, we're a small team and community driven
  • Outgoing, personable and professional personality
  • Free to work some late nights and/or weekends
  • Smart Serve Certification

Who you are:

  • A confident storyteller, provenance is important here
  • Calm, detail-oriented in high-performance environments
  • Willingness to continually learn and build yourself and our team up
  • Diligent and earnest in your work quality and efforts
  • Knowledge about Japanese whisky and/or food is a plus
  • Experience using Toast is an asset

Responsibilities include…

  • A full understanding of our offerings and a strong ability to communicate them
  • Maintaining an upbeat and positive attitude
  • Manage timing on coursing and ensuring a smooth service
  • Follow opening, closing, and all other standard operating procedures
  • Work closely with the bar and kitchen staff as representatives of us and guests
