Hi, we're Mizunara, nice to meet you

We're a 60+ seat Japanese whisky cocktail bar that offers some lovely food to pair with the aforementioned whisky and cocktails. Our concept focuses on familial service, local ingredients, and a smooth whisky base for many of our drinks, all set in a warm and elevated atmosphere.

We're looking for a server assistant to join us who wants to learn more about Canadian / Asian food & drink and deeply cares about making memorable experiences for our guests.

Requirements:

  • A passion for people, we're a small team and community driven
  • Outgoing, personable and professional personality
  • Free to work some late nights and/or weekends
  • Smart Serve Certification

Who you are:

  • Possible newcomer to hospitality, eager to learn
  • Calm, detail-oriented in high-performance environments
  • Organized, clean and a team player
  • Diligent and earnest in your work quality and efforts
  • Knowledge about Japanese whisky and/or food is a plus

Responsibilities include…

  • A thorough understanding of our offerings
  • Assist with food running, polish plates, glassware, cutlery, and other essentials
  • Follow opening, closing, and all other standard operating procedures
  • Work closely with servers, the bar and kitchen team, providing support with a focus on the main lounge
