Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are preferred but not required. The Server plays a vital role in creating memorable guest experiences through excellent hospitality and efficient service.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cashiering duties accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Assist with food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Ensure guest needs are met promptly, addressing any concerns or special requests professionally
  • Follow all sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures to uphold health standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory
  • Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or dishes comfortably
  • Effective communication skills to interact with guests and team members seamlessly
  • Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends and holidays as needed
