Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Pilates Instructor to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to the Pilates method, have experience teaching effective and engaging classes, and possess excellent communication skills. This role offers the opportunity to inspire clients, deepen their understanding of Pilates, and foster a positive, supportive environment where people can improve their strength, mobility, and overall well-being.

Duties

  • Lead engaging, safe, and effective Pilates classes rooted in the classical or contemporary Pilates method, tailored to a variety of skill levels.

  • Develop personalized Pilates-based workout plans that align with clients' individual goals and needs.

  • Provide clear instruction and precise demonstrations, ensuring clients understand the principles and benefits of the Pilates method.

  • Monitor client progress and offer constructive, supportive feedback that helps them grow in their practice.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment aligned with professional studio standards.

  • Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service, communication, and a genuine passion for Pilates.

  • Manage class schedules efficiently, ensuring sessions begin and end on time while accommodating client needs when possible.

  • Stay current with Pilates techniques, anatomy knowledge, and industry best practices through ongoing professional development and dedication to the method.

Experience

  • Proven experience teaching Pilates classes, with certification from a recognized Pilates organization preferred.

  • Demonstrated dedication to the Pilates method and ability to translate that passion into effective teaching.

  • Strong communication skills in English.

  • Ability to confidently instruct diverse groups of clients at varying fitness and experience levels.

  • Excellent time management skills to balance classes, private sessions, and client appointments.

  • Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate clients while fostering a supportive, encouraging atmosphere.

  • Previous customer service experience is an asset, emphasizing a friendly and approachable demeanor.
