Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to coordinate transportation and logistics operations within our supply chain network. The ideal candidate will manage freight movements, communicate effectively with drivers and clients, and utilize various transportation management systems to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting shipping, receiving, and supply chain functions across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule freight shipments using systems such as Loadlink, DAT, and Truck Stop
  • Manage shipping & receiving processes, ensuring accurate data entry and documentation.
  • Communicate with drivers, carriers, and clients via multi-line phone systems, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Monitor freight movements, troubleshoot issues, and provide analysis to optimize routes and delivery times.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and related logistics data.
  • Use analysis skills to identify potential delays or inefficiencies in the supply chain process.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all dispatch activities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with transportation systems such Loadlink, Xpert IT Solutions, DAT, and load booking software.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain operations and freight management.
  • Strong communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
  • Ability to analyze logistical data for process improvements.
  • Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and problem-solving abilities. This position is integral to maintaining efficient logistics operations within our organization, supporting seamless communication across departments while ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
