Role Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dispatcher for a full-time, on-site position located in Brampton, ON. The Dispatcher will manage day-to-day operations by coordinating and scheduling freight deliveries, ensuring effective communication with drivers, and resolving any operational issues that may arise. Responsibilities include creating delivery routes, monitoring transportation progress, addressing client inquiries, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in dispatching, route planning, and transportation management systems
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to coordinate effectively with drivers and clients
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and industry best practices in transportation and logistics
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Knowledge of the Brampton and Ontario areas is an asset
  • Previous experience in the transportation or logistics industry is an advantage
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office software
