TDL Canada Inc. is seeking a dynamic and results driven Sales & Business Development Representative to join our growing Sales Team.
In this role, you'll focus on customer engagement and driving sales growth through proactive communication with both new and existing customers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, enjoys connecting with people, and is motivated by achieving measurable results. This role reports to the Director or Sales Operations
You'll play a key role in executing outbound calling campaigns, supporting marketing promotions, and helping expand our customer base across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Engagement
- Execute calling campaigns to generate new business and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
- Identify and qualify leads, schedule follow-ups, and manage opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities across product lines and customer segments.
- Partner with outside sales representatives to develop account strategies and close opportunities.
- Maintain consistent outreach through high call volume, follow-up emails, and CRM activity.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales and conversion targets.
Promotional Campaign Support
- Collaborate with marketing to support product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
- Communicate key promotional offers and value propositions to targeted customer lists.
- Provide feedback from customers and prospects to improve campaign effectiveness.
Account Development & Retention
- Build long-term relationships through consistent communication and strong product knowledge.
- Conduct account reviews to identify growth and retention opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely and proactive follow-up.
Sales Reporting & CRM Management
- Use Microsoft Dynamics CRM to log activities, track leads, and maintain accurate sales pipelines.
- Monitor and report on key metrics such as call volume, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
- Contribute insights to improve sales tactics, processes, and overall team performance.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in inside sales, business development, or account management.
- Proven success in prospecting, cold calling, and closing sales in a B2B or distribution environment.
- Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems (Dynamics preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident, professional phone presence.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and driven to exceed targets.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and positive approach.
- Bilingual (French/English) is an asset.
Preferred:
- Experience working with vendors and brands distributed by TDL Canada Inc. (e.g., Ubiquiti, TP-Link, Yealink, Grandstream, or similar technology and telecom vendors) is a strong plus.
Salary Range: $60,000 to $65,000 plus Commission
