Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory and Procurement Specialist to join our team.

This role is key to managing internal inventory and fulfilling orders for both employees and clients. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and an excellent communicator - with strong skills in procurement, inventory control, and vendor relations.

You will be responsible for sourcing materials, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Inventory Management


• Source and purchase parts and materials for internal projects, R&D, and departmental needs.


• Collaborate with departments to forecast and maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Identify and qualify suppliers offering quality products at competitive prices.


• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with vendors.
• Implement and maintain efficient inventory tracking systems.


• Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure accurate recordkeeping.

2. Order Fulfillment


• Receive and process internal and client orders accurately and efficiently.


• Prepare and package orders for shipment, including labeling and carrier coordination.


• Track shipments to ensure timely delivery.


• Manages order discrepancies, returns, and issues in a professional manner.

3. Documentation & Reporting


• Maintain detailed records of all procurement and inventory activities.


• Generate regular reports on stock levels, purchasing, and fulfillment performance.


• Track and manage vendor agreements, contracts, and supplier performance data.

4. Vendor Relations


• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.


• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and address any quality or delivery concerns.


• Stay current on market trends, product availability, and pricing changes.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, or a related field (preferred).


• Proven experience in procurement, inventory management, or a similar role.


• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.


• Proficiency with inventory management systems and tools.


• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.


• High attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, showing initiative and problem solving ability.
