Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and process purchase orders for tools, materials, and services in compliance with company procedures.
- Liaise with internal teams to clarify technical specifications and delivery requirements.
- Source vendors locally, obtain quotations, and support supplier evaluation.
- Monitor purchase order status and follow up to ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and reconcile with goods received.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for parts, tools, and consumables.
- Perform stock audits, track usage trends, and initiate replenishment as needed.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and forecast future needs based on maintenance schedules.
- Ensure all materials and assets are tracked and recorded using appropriate systems.
- Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
- Coordinate transportation and shipping with couriers, freight companies, and internal teams.
- Support the transfer of equipment between sites, including documentation and tracking.
- Communicate with vendors for order confirmations, delivery schedules, and troubleshooting issues.
- Ensure customs, labeling, and packaging standards are met for all shipments.
- Resolve invoicing, delivery, or quality discrepancies in coordination with Finance and Operations.
- Maintain procurement documentation, shipment records, inspection logs, and equipment usage files. Input data into inventory and procurement systems (ERP or equivalent).
- Support RMC Services Team or execute part of their duties based on direct manager instructions.

**2. Qualifications and Skills**
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian procurement regulations, import/export procedures, and logistics operations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and procurement/logistics software.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $43.00-$48.00 per hour
