Here's how a Logistics and Inventory Coordinator for our Resources office contributes to our team:
**Responsibilities**:

- Arranges freight for Heavy Equipment /Construction Equipment - includes quotations from multiple vendors, coordination with vendors, documentation
- Ensures maintenance and accuracy of inventory tracking
- Transfers data from working documentation to PCL systems
- Assists with selecting equipment from inventory
- Leads inventory control practices
- Receives, reviews, and expedites requisitions
- Communication with Procurement staff, project teams, internal district departments, vendors
- Generates monthly reports for facility
- Develops and maintains strong customer focused relationships
- Promotes a strong safety culture

**Qualifications**:

- 2 years experience in a warehouse, inventory control, shipping/receiving environment along with arranging heavy equipment freight
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic understanding or construction equipment, tools, materials, and what is required for freight transport
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage shifting priorities
- Familiar with Canadian trucking guidelines/laws/weights and dimensions
- Ability to understand and employ the company’s specifications, methods, and procedures.
