Job Summary:

This hybrid position combines the responsibilities of Front Desk, Night Audit, and Bell Services to provide exceptional guest experiences, smooth hotel operations, and accurate end-of-day reporting. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and flexible, with strong customer service skills and the ability to perform a variety of tasks in both day and overnight shifts. A valid Class 5 driver's license is required for valet and guest vehicle assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk Duties:

  • Welcome and check guests in/out efficiently while ensuring accuracy in Opera Cloud PMS.
  • Process reservations, room assignments, and guest requests.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and posting charges.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Night Audit Duties:

  • Balance and reconcile daily guest and non-guest accounts.
  • Prepare and distribute end-of-day financial and operational reports.
  • Verify accuracy of postings, payments, and settlements.
  • Ensure all financial data complies with company standards and accounting policies.
  • Perform overnight front desk coverage, ensuring guest safety and satisfaction.

Bellman Duties:

  • Greet and assist guests with luggage, packages, and personal belongings.
  • Escort guests to rooms and provide hotel information and local recommendations.
  • Deliver items such as amenities, messages, and packages to guest rooms.
  • Provide valet parking services and safely operate guest vehicles (Class 5 driver's license required).
  • Maintain lobby cleanliness and assist with guest transportation requests.

Qualifications:

  • Previous hotel front desk, night audit, or bellman/valet experience an asset.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Opera Cloud or similar PMS preferred.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including overnight.
  • Must hold a valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying luggage up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
