Carmana Plaza, a hotel located in downtown Vancouver, is offering an exciting career opportunity for a Front Office Agent. We are a unique hybrid of a traditional boutique hotel providing nightly stays in our spacious suites as well as extended stays in our high rise residences.

We are currently searching for a full-time Night Auditor, working 11:00pm to 7:30am shifts. The Night Auditor is a key member of the Front Office team and is responsible for completing the night audit prior to the morning shift, attending to the guest needs, as well as to protect the safety and well-being of the guests, and security of the building during the overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Some duties and responsibilities will include:

- Responding to all guest requests appropriately.
- Remaining alert, friendly, courteous, and helpful to guests and fellow associates at all times.
- Performing accounting work such as auditing and balancing reports from the day shift, balancing credit card machines, posting ledgers, completing a daily revenue report, etc.
- Fulfilling guest's request during their stays.
- Reconciling and updating Front Office System with list of rooms occupied, vacant, and out of order to ensure records are maintained and updated for reservations, front desk, and housekeeping teams.

**Qualifications**
- Completion of a college diploma. Graduation with Tourism/Hospitality Management Diploma or Post-Secondary Degree, preferred.
- Fluency in English, including excellent, professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles, debit and credit transactions, and various payment methods available to guests is required.
- Capable of standing for long periods of time and helping with guest luggage, as required.
- Ability to work effectively in an innovative, fast-paced, and multi-tasked environment while resolving problems with facts and sound reasoning.
