Summary
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Delta. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, manage financial records, and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficiency.
- Manage accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
- Coordinate payroll processing and employee records management.
- Implement and maintain accounting software systems.
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Provide administrative support to management as needed.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role in the food industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, or Quickbooks.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with payroll processes is preferred.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3-4 months
Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
