Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Manager to oversee daily administrative and financial operations within our company. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in accounting software, bookkeeping, and office management, ensuring smooth workflow and accurate financial record-keeping. Duties
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including administrative support and staff coordination
- Oversee bookkeeping activities using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy
- File and pay taxes
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Assist with budgeting processes and financial planning
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation
- Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
- Support payroll processing and related compliance activities
- Coordinate with external accountants or auditors as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office management, bookkeeping, or accounting roles
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports for management decision-making
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Prior experience with budgeting and account analysis is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business administration, finance, or related field is a plus
