About The Role:

Full time based on a combination of in-office work, attending properties and work from home, the Property Manager will work as a vital member of our property management team. Working collaboratively with a team of experienced property managers and administrators, some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overall responsibility for a portfolio of commercial properties;
  • Working closely with the property administration team on rent collection, tenant relations and property maintenance;
  • Reviewing Monthly Financial Reports prepared by the accounting department including editing and updating Variance and Arrears Reports before submission to senior management for final review;
  • Preparing annual budgets that address income, operating expenses, capital upgrades and leasing assumptions;
  • Regular site visits to properties to conduct inspections or meet with tenants or contractors;
  • Coordinating & supervising tenant improvement construction, major repairs and equipment replacements;
  • Weekly meetings with the property management team to address arrears, major projects and other related matters; and
  • Rotating on-call with the other property managers for after-hours emergencies.

What You Will Bring:

To be successful in this roll you will have a high level of attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills. Other key capabilities or attributes we are looking for include:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills including ability to prioritize work;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Organized, punctual and professional;
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines;
  • Three (3) or more years of property management experience;
  • Current Rental Property Management Real Estate license;
  • Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree preferred;
  • Must have a vehicle or access to one in order to complete site visits and/or attend meetings.
