Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of residential buildings, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company standards.
• Lead, mentor, and manage on-site staff including Resident Caretakers, Leasing Teams, and Property Coordinators.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for resident concerns and service requests.
• Prepare and manage budgets, approve invoices, track expenses, and support financial forecasting.
• Support leasing activities, coordinate unit turnovers, and help maintain high occupancy rates.
• Source, negotiate, and manage vendor and contractor contracts for services like maintenance and landscaping.
• Ensure properties meet health, safety, and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate operational records.
• Provide regular updates to corporate management and maintain property management software systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years residential Property Manager experience; 2+ years managing property management staff.
• Strong knowledge of BC residential tenancy laws and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and property management software (e.g., Yardi).
• Strong budgeting, financial analysis, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred

• Experience managing multi-building or multi-site portfolios.
• Professional certification in property management (CPM, RPA, ARM, PMP, etc.).
• Knowledge of building systems and maintenance best practices.
