Reliable Equipment Rentals Ltd. provides aerial equipment rentals and services to valued customers throughout southwestern British Columbia.
We are looking for a Dispatch Support to assists with scheduling and coordinating the delivery of rental equipment throughout the Lower Mainland. The incumbent will work closely with the Dispatch Manager and team members to provides administrative and operational support to ensure smooth delivery operations, accurate recordkeeping, and a strong focus on safety and customer service.
Monday to Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM
$32.00 to $36.00 per hour depending on experience, skills, and qualifications

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assists the Dispatch Manager with scheduling and dispatching trucks to ensure timely service.
- Supports coordination of driver pickup and delivery activities.
- Helps prioritize delivery and pickup requests based on customer and operational needs.
- Provides accurate directions and delivery details to drivers as needed.
- Maintains up-to-date yard inventory records.
- Collaborates with Yard Workers to prepare and stage equipment for transport.
- Answers customer calls and assists with scheduling lift pickups.
- Communicates with the Sales and Service Departments to support machine delivery and pickup coordination.
- Monitors and tracks shipments from pickup through delivery to completion.
- Relays information to Drivers about traffic, weather, and road conditions.
- Assists with maintaining maintenance logs and records for the trucking fleet.
- Performs other support duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Familiarity with aerial lift equipment preferred.
- Strong geographic knowledge of Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.
- Dependable team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Typing proficiency and attention to detail required.
- Strong computer proficiency; Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
Experience, Training, Certification and Education:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a dispatching or dispatch support role.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in delivery, logistics, or driver dispatch support.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Aerial lift certification preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Office environment
- Outdoors (on occasion)
