*The Inside Sales Development Representative plays a vital role in the growth and retention of our industrial customer base. Acting as a bridge between counter sales activities and more strategic account management, they are responsible for identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities within our existing and potential customer base. This role combines inside sales, customer service, and business development skills to ensure continued growth and increased customer satisfaction. The incumbent will work closely with inside sales representatives and account managers to maximize our market presence and achieve our sales objectives.

  • Identify and qualify high-potential prospects.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and understand their needs.
  • Manage sales opportunities and prepare quotes.
  • Collaborate with internal sales teams and account managers.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up regularly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and produce reports.
  • Stay informed about products and industry trends.

Are you a MATCH?

  • DEC or equivalent experience in sales or business development.
  • Experience in internal sales or customer service (industrial environment, an asset).
  • Knowledge of welding equipment, tools and supplies (an asset).
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and work in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of welding processes and products is a big asset
  • Proficiency in IT and CRM tools.
