Hours: Approx hours/week

About Us: Tiny Market Co. is a cozy and welcoming neighborhood hotspot in Toronto, where creative food and community vibes come together. We host seasonal tasting menus, run lunch service, and operate a retail space curated with our house-made pasta & provisions. We're looking for an efficient, detail-oriented and personable individual to join our small but mighty team.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who's ready to step into a dynamic position with lots of variety, from customer-facing service to coordinating and facilitating expo in the kitchen. This is neither a fully expo or fully server position—we are looking for someone who can be flexible between both BOH and FOH. This job is anything but boring.

What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with our chef to streamline and facilitate the expo line, manage orders, and run food during our busy lunch service, Friday through Sunday
  • Set up and take down for our lunch service
  • When necessary, deliver warm, thoughtful customer service across both our retail and lunch-service operations
  • Ability to assist with in-store purchases, transactions, and product recommendations
  • Maintain high standards of product presentation and cleanliness
  • Keep up with the pace of a busy shop and adapt quickly to changing needs
  • Support and help manage in-store events and pop-ups, including setup and guest interactions
  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
