Kitchen Expediter/Food Runner

Overview:

The Expediter acts as the communication link between the kitchen and the front-of-house staff. You'll ensure that every dish leaving the kitchen meets our quality standards and is delivered promptly and correctly. This position requires strong multitasking skills, clear communication, and a positive attitude under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and organize completed food orders for servers
  • Ensure all dishes meet presentation and temperature standards before leaving the kitchen
  • Communicate clearly with cooks and servers to ensure smooth order flow
  • Manage ticket timing and prioritize orders during busy shifts
  • Assist with garnishing, plating, and final touches on dishes as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized expo station
  • Support kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient operations
  • May perform other duties as assigned

  • Excellent attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player
  • Must be able to stand for long periods
