Position Summary

The IT Administrative Coordinator supports day-to-day technology operations with a focus on project coordination, vendor interactions, documentation, and store-level technology initiatives. This position works closely with the CIO and the IT department to ensure that operational requirements are gathered accurately, solutions are validated, and projects are delivered efficiently. The role requires strong organizational skills, general technical proficiency, and the ability to support both administrative and functional IT activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate ISP-related projects, service changes, and site deployments.
  • Support planning, rollout, and follow-up for technology initiatives across retail locations.
  • Gather requirements from internal teams and document them clearly for IT execution.
  • Validate solutions and configurations to ensure they meet operational needs before implementation.
  • Develop, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), checklists, and documentation.
  • Provide coordination and administrative support to the stores team, including communication, scheduling, and tracking.
  • Assist with technology inventory management, procurement coordination, and general IT operations.
  • Track project milestones, maintain status reports, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Work closely with IT leadership to support departmental objectives and ensure alignment with broader organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • General understanding of computers, networks, and common business systems.
  • Experience in project coordination, administrative support, or a similar operational role.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and external vendors in a professional manner.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for occasional travel to stores or vendor sites.
  • Ability to work fully on-site.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Technical Skills

  • Basic scripting or coding ability (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for simple automation or data handling.
  • Familiarity with POS systems or retail technology environments.
  • Understanding of network fundamentals (VLANs, Wi-Fi, DNS, basic troubleshooting).
  • Experience with ticketing systems or IT service management tools.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365, Azure, or similar.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and support validation of IT configurations.
  • Comfort working with device setup, basic hardware tasks, and software deployments.
