Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Receptionist/Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and administrative support within our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in a medical or dental office setting is highly desirable.
Duties
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional manner at the front desk
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and taking messages
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Maintain organized filing systems for easy retrieval of documents
- Provide clerical support including typing, proofreading, and managing correspondence
- Utilize QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks as needed
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer support
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective phone etiquette and communication skills
- Prior experience in a medical or dental office is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with bookkeeping principles is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Previous administrative experience is beneficial
