We're looking for a detail‑oriented, proactive Treatment & Hygiene Coordinator to join our administrative team and help keep our practice running smoothly.

Position Overview

As our Treatment & Hygiene Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring our dentist and hygiene operatories stay fully booked and efficiently managed. You'll be the connection point between patients, providers, and the schedule—helping patients understand their treatment plans, navigating insurance details, and ensuring our day flows with minimal disruption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a full and productive schedule for both dentist and hygiene operatories

  • Manage inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and care

  • Book, confirm, and adjust appointments as needed

  • Create and maintain a short‑notice cancellation list to fill openings quickly

  • Send predeterminations and follow up on responses

  • Discuss insurance and benefit coverage with patients in a clear, supportive manner

  • Collaborate with the clinical and administrative team to ensure smooth daily operations

  • Utilize Dentrix and Max Assist for scheduling, charting, and administrative tasks

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a dental administrator or treatment coordinator

  • Proficiency with Dentrix and Max Assist (or similar dental practice software)

  • Strong communication skills—both verbal and written

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment

  • Comfortable discussing financial and insurance details with patients

  • A positive, team‑oriented attitude and commitment to excellent patient care

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
