Our specialized dental clinic is looking for an experienced, positive and enthusiastic Dental Treatment Coordinator. Registered Dental Assistants are welcome to apply. We strongly believe that the treatment coordinator role is vital in shaping the patient's experience and creating a memorable first impression, therefore, 3+ years in the dental field is required for this position.

This job will entail:

- Greet patients upon entry to the clinic. Check patients in and out.
- Answer incoming phone calls.
- Educate patients; including treatment modalities, options for funding, funding criteria, insurance procedures, payment plans, and patient responsibility during treatment process.
- Review recommended treatment & finances with the patient.
- Ensure patient cases are progressing; including follow-up calls and correspondence with other practitioners’ offices and patients
- Summarize incoming reports into patient’s charts. Give report to the corresponding doctor to review and sign.
- Create financials for upcoming procedures.
- Create detailed treatment estimate.
- Submit detailed predeterminations before, during and after treatment consultations.
- Enter insurance payments.
- Coordinator of benefits.
- Complete questionnaires given by insurance companies regarding treatment.
- Contact patient’s insurance company when issues arise.
- Oversee the schedule.
- Assist the administrative assistant with answering incoming phones.
- Assist management in organizing staff events.

**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Broad knowledge and experience in: Dental Treatment and Dental Terminology.
- Above average skills in: Communication and Case Management
- Excellent skills in: Time Management and Insurance Procedures
- Must be able to type 70wpm or more.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$33.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Dental Administrative Assistant: 2 years (preferred)
