**The opportunity**:
**The qualifications and experience we’re looking for**:

- Master's degree in a related study area.
- OR
- Bachelor's degree or completion of a Community College course in a related discipline with three years = directly related experience.
- At least 3 years' progressive experience in research operations, management and logistics.
- Knowledge of, or exposure to, the University of Manitoba and its administrative structure is preferred.
- Experience working within a multi-disciplinary setting preferred.
- Experience working with local, national and international collaborators.
- Must have experience managing programs with specific deadlines.
- Experience supervising staff/trainees or administrative staff to accomplish time-sensitive goals is preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in laboratory operation, equipment, and procedures (i.e. molecular, diagnostic, and microbiological techniques).
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Ability to communicate with others to present to large groups is required.
- Ability to schedule and run meetings is required.
- Ability to make sound independent judgements and utilize problem-solving abilities is required.
- Ability to perform efficiently under pressure because of deadlines and multiple priorities is required.
- Ability to handle multiple and simultaneous complex tasks and projects is required.
- Ability to deal with all levels of staff if required.
- A satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
- Knowledge of University of Manitoba policies and procedures as they related to research funds is an asset.

Pay: $47,684.00-$68,468.40 per year
