We are currently looking for an **Account Manager** to join our dynamic and vibrant **Wholesale/ Construction** team in our **North York Head Office** location. **LOCATION**: 4496 Chesswood Drive, North York.

**Job Purpose Summary**: Under the direction of the **V.P. of Sales & Marketing, **the **Account Manager** will be responsible for managing the accounts of residential construction developers, wholesale pool builders, and wholesale licensed dealers. **Key Duties and Responsibilities** include but are not limited to the following:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Receive & process sales orders.
- Provide updates to customers regarding their outstanding orders.
- Process accounts receivable and revenue collection functions, including preparing, printing, and posting invoices, following up on outstanding invoices and administering collection.
- Perform collections to facilitate payment of invoices due by sending reminders and contacting clients.
- Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting records before entering them into the system.
- Provide quotes to dealers for products.
- Administer customer service functions inclusive of product acquisition/search, organizing logistics etc.
- Coordinate deliveries and maintain a schedule.
- Verify own work for accuracy, clarity, and completeness, and ensures compliance with the company and regulatory requirements.
- Place customer orders with various vendors.
- Produce Sales Orders internally for inventory items.
- Work directly with vendors and carriers to coordinate and organize shipments and/or deliveries of products.
- Create PO’s and receiving for specific product categories.
- Create and maintain reports.
- Maintain appropriate files, working papers, reports, and documentation of data.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the completion of daily operational tasks.
- Perform other ad hoc projects/assignments as required by management.

**Other Duties& Responsibilities**:

- Maintain annual logs of all orders and transactions of all pool and hot tubs sales.
- Complete annualized price list and updated pricing for products.
- Lean on your expertise and critical thinking skills to identify processes that could impact financial performance and implement solutions.
- Support with implementation of changes and controls leading to best practice operations.
- Maintain good working relationships with internal and external clients to better achieve the department's objectives.
- Escalate and make recommendations to the appropriate authority about any inquiries or issues that are beyond the scope of the role.
- Complete daily workload within strict timeframes and address any issues with the manager.
- Ensure effective cross-functional coordination with other teams.

**Required** **Competencies & Qualifications**:

- Demonstrated effectiveness at sustaining high value level relationships.
- Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Ability to multitask and manage tight timelines in a dynamic and high-volume environment.
- A high degree of accuracy with great attention to detail
- A focused and detail oriented approach to complete tasks with high level of accuracy
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate Excel skills with a demonstrated ability to work with various datasets.
- Knowledge and understanding of financial systems.
- Genuine motivation to succeed and willingness to learn and grow the position.

**Desired Competencies & Qualifications**:

- Post-Secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, and Management etc. strong asset.
- Capacity to apprehend the various sources of information used in accounting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Team oriented with an ability to build strong working relationships across the organization.

**Salary**: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
