As a small and passionate team located in downtown Vancouver with an operating budget of approximately
$2M, we manage government’s $15million investment in sport and are dedicated to scaling the impact of sport in the province and beyond. **JOB SUMMARY**
Reporting to the Director, Partnerships and Engagement, the Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and supporting relationship development with new and existing stakeholders, including corporations, foundations, and social sector agencies.
- Managing project coordination with various stakeholders to track performance and meet deadlines.
- Support grant administration.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Partnership Coordination (50%)**
- Coordinate the management of ongoing relationships with existing partnerships and support partnership development where relevant.
- Coordinate the development, maintenance and internal use of a relationship management system.
- Coordinate project management initiatives related to partnership development and management.
- Support stakeholder engagement planning and implementation.
- Provide administrative support to Partnership and Engagement portfolio (tracking expenses, scheduling meetings, presentations, drafting communications, etc).
- Support project report development for partners.
- Coordinate communication and marketing opportunities with internal and external stakeholders.
**Business Development and Support (25%)**
- Support revenue diversification initiatives including, creating presentations and researching leads.
- Research potential funding partnerships and opportunities.
- Work with cross-departmental partners to understand organizational needs.
- Provide business development support as needed to achieve goals.
**Grants Administration (25%)**
- Support the grant administration process by working effectively across departments, with government partners, and other provincial and community stakeholders.
- Support evaluation processes, analyze data, and prepare impact reports.
- Support strategies to amplify impact through grants and relationship development.
**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE**
An equivalent combination of the following education and experience will be considered:
- Post-secondary education in business administration, sport management or related field.
- Experience in relationship development, grant administration, project management and/or partnership management.
- Strong project management experience with the ability to collaborate and follow up on project completion.
- Strong written and verbal communicator with ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
**SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Strong time management, accountability, organization, and attention to detail
- Strong written communication skills.
- Articulate, adaptable and professional speaking abilities.
- Ability to evaluate options, identifying risks, and find solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal (teamwork, leadership, positivity, empathy) and analytical skills (financial, planning, operational).
- Ability to solve problems in a matrix team environment and leading with high energy and positivity.
- Tech savvy and confident using multiple platforms.
**WORKING ENVIRONMENT**
- Hybrid work arrangement at home and at the office location: 1351-409 Granville Street, Vancouver.
- Full-time (37.5 hours per week) - with flexibility to work evenings or weekends.
- Salary range of $48,000 to $55,000 annually based on experience. Compensation package also includes comprehensive health benefits program, RRSP match, and 3 weeks’ vacation within the first year.
