THE ROLE:

As Partnerships Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development, growth and maintenance of the “Partner Channel”. This position requires excellent communication, time management, administrative and organizational skills, along with a proactive and results-oriented approach. You will be an integral part of the team and will work closely with the Director of Partnerships.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Provide ongoing support to the Director and Manager of the Partner Channel to ensure smooth operations and efficient communication.
- Maintain accurate records of Partners, including contact details, interactions, and transactions.
- Onboard new Partners and provide training on Merchant Growth systems, portals, and processes.
- Educate existing and prospective Partners to enhance their understanding of our offerings.
- Offer continuous support and guidance to Partners throughout their interactions with Merchant Growth and assist them during transactions for their clients.
- Collaborate with Partners on marketing campaigns and provide marketing collateral to help promote our products and services effectively.
- Educating Partners about the Merchant Growth value proposition to foster deal opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing Partners to enhance engagement and mutual success.
- Assist in migrating established brokers into the Referral Partner channel when appropriate, fostering a seamless transition.
- Prioritize and organize incoming requests from the Partner Channel, entering relevant details, and saving documents into Salesforce or other relevant systems.
- Act as an intermediary between Referral Partners and internal teams (e.g., marketing, IT, sales, software development) to ensure efficient collaboration and channel success.
- Proactively following up on leads and maintaining an active pipeline of potential Referral Partner development.
WHAT YOU WILL ALREADY HAVE:
- Min 1 years’ experience working in a coordinator or administrative role within a sales, channel sales, or customer success
- Preferred Experience working with alternative lending, brokers, or third-party origination channels
- Knowledge of financial services market structure (lenders, aggregators, brokers) is an asset
- Demonstrable capability to manage broker and partner accounts
- Proven ability to identify, contact and partner with target referral sources
- Strong business insight and a keen understanding of the key motivators for business owners within the marketplace
