**What you’ll do**
- As we embark on a bold new strategic plan, we are looking for a talented, Philanthropy Coordinator to join our incredible team. In this role, you will be a key member of our Corporate Partnerships team and play an integral role in helping to power the possible. In this role, you will create efficient systems, monitor trends and evaluate data to collaborate with other departments to develop an enhanced fundraising experience for new and existing donors. You will provide support for major corporate donors including but not limited to Save-On-Foods and Mining for Miracles.
- Reporting to the Associate Director of Corporate Partnerships, the Philanthropy Coordinator will provide administrative management and strategic support to the two Associate Directors (Corporate Partnerships & Business Development) and all members of the team in order to achieve financial targets and team/organizational priorities (both on local and national level).
- More specifically, you will be responsible for
- Supporting the fundraising activities of the Associate Directors by coordinating meetings, liaising with donors, creating collateral materials, entering actions in the donor database and assembling materials for meetings and presentations for key accounts (Major Gifts corporate).
- Supporting the Associate Director in the management of Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) and Canada’s Children’s Hospital Foundation’s (CCHF); takes a lead role in the data collection, reporting and analytic needs for the CMN and CCHF partnerships.
- Taking a lead role in managing some key donor accounts, such as CMN partners or fundraising events; creates and executes strategies for these accounts to ensure impeccable donor service and that financial targets are being met.
- Maintaining the Corporate Partnerships Program revenue and expense tracking, including goal setting (Pipeline reporting) and bringing forward discrepancies to the Associate Directors and/or other members of the Corporate Partnerships Team;
- Coordinating administrative processes and procedures for the team to ensure efficiencies and best support the fundraising efforts/needs of the team.
- Implementing and managing efforts to support staff to identify, cultivate, and solicit new and existing donors through analysis and research.
- Collaborating with the Donor Relations team to develop the recognition and stewardship processes to create meaningful consistent stewardship activities and assist in the planning of recognition initiatives as needed.
- Collaborating with team members to advance fundraising efforts by evaluating and providing recommendations on fundraising strategies/ programs.

You have a professional manner and the ability to interact tactfully and diplomatically with a wide variety of people at various organizational levels.

- Post-secondary diploma in relevant field (i.e. non-profit business or communications)
- Three years of experience or more in the not-for-profit sector
- Well-developed time management and organization skills with an ability to efficiently manage a diverse range of assignments while meeting multiple deadlines.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately and with discretion.
- Passion for project management and coordination
- Demonstrated knowledge of fundraising and experience building and maintaining donor relationships
- A strategic thinker where what comes next is as important as excellence in today’s donor experience.
- Research and analytical skills pertaining to donor prospect/ capacity.
- Strong time management skills
