- Has **5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience**:

- Lives in the **Tri-Cities area** (Coquitlam, Port Moody, Port Coquitlam)
- Thrives working independently in a busy environment
- Has a proactive, solutions-focused attitude

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Bookkeeping & Financial Reporting**
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry, recordkeeping, and journal entries
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Reconcile accounts and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Support internal budgeting and financial planning

**Payroll & Payroll Related Items**
- Prepare bi-weekly payroll using **Payworks**:

- Record bi-weekly payroll journal entries
- Complete annual **T4** verification and processing

**Accounts Payable**
- Enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
- Process monthly vendor payments via EFT or cheque
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

**Banking**
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations
- Post weekly banking transactions

**Credit Card Management**
- Record credit card transactions, manage payments, and perform monthly reconciliations

**Government Remittances**
- Submit **PST, GST, and WCB** remittances monthly or quarterly as required

**Year-End Preparation**
- Organize and prepare documentation and backups for external accountants
- Post final year-end journal entries based on accountant-provided data

**Software Tools**
- Use **Payworks** for payroll management

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum **5 years** of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
- Solid understanding of payroll, government remittances, and financial reporting
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
