Social Media Marketing Specialist

**What You'll Be Doing**
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy after conducting competitive research, platform determination, messaging, and audience identification
- Plan, create, publish, and share new content (including original text, images, and video) to build meaningful customer connections, increase brand awareness and encourage community members to engage with the brand
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
- Moderate user-generated content in line with the moderation policy on social media channels
- Collaborate with the team to generate engaging social media content
- Manage production of assets required to deliver on the monthly content calendar: work with freelancers to review/approve content as well as copy and creative
- Capture and analyze the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and social media best practices to measure the success of every social media campaign, then use that information to refine future campaigns
- Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
- Boosting social media posts across multiple social platforms.
**What you'll need to be successful**:
- Able to work full time and on-site at the headquarter located in London, Ontario. With an opportunity for Hybrid work options after the training period
- Degree or diploma in digital marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or related work experience.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role
- Strong business and personal social media acumen - actively participate on social media, demonstrable knowledge of evolving digital communications landscape
- Passionate user of social media & digital technologies; knowledge of social media best practices (hashtags, UTM’s, etc.)
- Experience monitoring and measuring analytics related to web and social media content using tools such as Semrush, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Jasper, etc.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
- Familiar and demonstrated ability to work within all social media platforms (ie: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) and social media schedulers (such as Hootsuite, etc.)
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working at a digital marketing agency is an asset.
- Paid Social Media Advertising experience is an asset.
