Landscape Enhancements Labourer

**JOB SUMMARY**

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Reports to Crew Leader, Supervisor
- Promote a positive team environment through motivation, effective communication, and proactive problem-solving skills
- Perform manual duties to enhance landscaped environments including but not limited to brick work, mulching, planting, sodding, pruning, topdressing, etc.
- Report lawn, tree, shrub and flower problems to Crew Leader
- Operate a variety of hand tools and power equipment only once trained and approved to do so
- Interlocking stone and sod installation
- Physically fit and able to perform all above listed duties and below listed abilities
- Follow all Health & Safety regulations including wearing approved protective equipment
- Technology oriented to be able to use our software “LMN Time” on a cell phone for entering timesheets
- Ensure all Health & Safety policies and procedures are consistently followed
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold winter conditions
- Long hours could be necessary to ensure tasks are completed

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- No minimum level of education required
- One-year of related experience and/or training is preferred
- Valid G2 or G Driver’s License considered an asset
- Government Clearance considered an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver timely results with mínimal supervision
- Positive and professional team attitude
- Highly motivated and passionate about the business
- Knowledgeable and able to differentiate flowers, plants, weeds, soil, mulch, etc.
- Ability to adapt to change and overcome any tasks given and any problems that may arise
- Read and interpret documents such as site schedules, announcements, Health & Safety regulations, warning labels, etc.
- Willingness to learn and be engaged

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT**
- Physically fit and able to perform the prior listed duties and responsibilities
- Physically fit and able to bend down and crouch, for long periods of time when weeding garden beds
- Physically fit and able to work through very warm temperatures and long hours when needed
- Physically fit and able to frequently lift/move up to twenty-five pounds and occasionally lift/move up to fifty pounds
- Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks
- The employee works in outside weather conditions. Heat, sun, light rain, and humid conditions, fumes, or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals
- Noise level in the work environment is moderate
- Hearing protection, Hard Hats, and all other PPE must be worn according to regulations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
