UDI Cable Services is a leading telecommunication contracting company based in Ottawa specializing in utility construction serving eastern Ontario.

For over 20 years, UDI Cable Services has established a reputation for delivering outstanding service and performance to our clients.

As our company expands, we are looking to fill a position for a General Labourer.

**Applicants being considered will posses the following skills and abilities**:

- Valid G Driver's License (or equivalent) with a clean Drivers Abstract held for at least 3 years.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to read and write in English
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and in and around heavy equipment
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
- Work well within a team environment and self-motivated enough to perform on their own
- Ability to coordinate, direct and supervise construction projects with one or more crews
- Be reliable and hard working

**The following experience will be considered an asset**:

- Experience working with Mini-Excavator, Backhoe, and other heavy equipment
- Experience in landscaping, interlock, paving and concrete
- Able to read blueprints and/or construction plans
- Experience in telecommunication construction
