**Green Works Contracting** is a multi-service landscaping and design company in the nation’s capital focused on providing quality landscaping and friendly, hands-on service. We are currently seeking a _**Recruiter**_ to join our amazing team

We are seeking a recruiter to start mid ASAP. Full time and on contract until November 7, 2025, with possibility to extendor sign on as a full term employee.

The successful applicant needs to have a basic understanding of landscape practices. Will be recruiting such talent as DZ/AZ drivers, equipment operators, designers, project managers, landscaper labourers and leaders.

**Notes**:

- Open to hiring determined landscape professionals looking to getting off the field and into the office.

**Recruiter Responsibilities**:

- Recruiting sales rep and recruiting guerilla marketing.
- Full-cycle recruiting.
- On-board and train new employees. Overseeing training & scheduling.
- Coordinate events focused on employee recognition.
- Collaborate with managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Provide management with requested reports and documents.

**Administration Responsibilities**:

- Occasional administration work.

**Qualifications**:

- Class G Licence with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in Human Resources, recruiting, or other related fields.
- Knowledge of labour and employment laws.
- Strong organizational skills. The ability to meet deadlines and prioritize assignments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Social Media and/or Online Marketing is a bonus.
- Experience with google, microsoft and quickbooks software.
- Understanding of a landscape company related roles.

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
