The Human Resources Manager assists departments, in a professional and confidential manner, in carrying out various human resources duties, programs, and procedures for all company employees, including, but not limited to, recruitment, orientation, performance management, training, and records management, and payroll and benefits administration for Pride Pak Canada Ltd. and Pride Pak NFLD Ltd. Oversees above functions for Pride Pak Inc.
Your main responsibilities as the HR Manager will be to actively recruit new talent, maintain and update employee records, as well as manage various HR documents and internal databases, such as holidays and leave along with being the first point of contact for employee questions and concerns. Please note this position requires you to work **onsite.**
Your responsibilities will include:
- Being the first point of contact for employees on any HR-related queries
- Provide new hire orientation and training as required to new hires
- Forming and maintaining employee records
- Updating databases internally, such as sick and maternity leave
- Preparing and amending where necessary HR documents, i.e. employment contracts and recruitment guides
- Reviewing and renewing company policies and legal compliance
- Communicating with external partners
- Reporting regularly on HR metrics, such as company turnover
- Processes weekly payrolls for both Pride Pak Canada Ltd. and Pride Pak NFLD Ltd. including tracking and reporting of daily hours worked.
**Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources
- Minimum of two to three years of experience
- Prior experience in a recruiting role with demonstrated responsibility for the full recruitment cycle
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation (ESA and Human Rights Code)
- Strong interviewing and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently; self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to manage confidential information
- Passionate about recruiting and enjoys working in a team environment
- Must be able to communicate in Punjabi.
**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
