We are currently hiring an **Human Resources Manager**to support our team in Mississauga. This is a 14 month contract. The HR Manager provides organizational support to all functional areas of HR including recruitment and selection, employee orientation, salary and benefits administration, training and development, employee relations, health and safety and HR administration of policies, procedures and programs. The Manager also contributes to the achievement of Spectrum’s strategic people goals by participating in special HR projects.

- Provide strategic HR leadership, including coaching, guidance, and change management support to align with organizational values and compliance requirements
- Oversee talent acquisition, retention, and development processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning
- Manage employee relations, including investigations, disciplinary issues, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture that supports engagement and belonging
- Lead and mentor the HR team to deliver high-quality operational support across various HR processes and initiatives
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen HR strategies and programs.
- Collaborate with Payroll and IT teams to ensure accurate and timely management of employee data and related processes
**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary degree, diploma or certification in Human Resources Management
- 5+ years progressive experience in a Human Resources role
- Experience working in a unionized environment an asset
- CHRP in progress or completed an asset
- Working knowledge of Canadian HR legislation
- Previous experience with an HRIS and ATS
