Stern Cohen LLP is recruiting an **Experienced Bookkeeper** for their client, to help with the company’s investment bookkeeping functions. The Bookkeeper will be responsible and accountable for all company's investment bookkeeping and financial records.

**Company overview**

Tzafon Corporate Services provides management consulting services to select clients in the United States and Canada. Our industry expertise spans finance, tech, Indigenous governments, and healthcare. This role entails developing a management platform to support the management of a large group of related entities operating in the United States and Canada.

Location: 2 St. Clair Avenue West

**Responsibilities**:

- Experience in a professional, fast-paced environment
- Maintaining, documenting, and continuously improving internal solid controls over investment accounting
- Assist with investment controls and performance tracking processes
- Complete review and develop an understanding of the client’s business as it relates to an assignment
- Compiling, reviewing, and preparing the required information for semi-annual and annual financial statements or other reports as required
- Supporting the team on any ad-hoc tasks as needed
- Full cycle bookkeeping
- Maintain and update accounting records
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested

**Job requirements**
- College Degree/Diploma in Accounting/Finance and Bookkeeping
- Work experience in investment bookkeeping is desirable
- Able to work independently while at the same time can manage a team of staff to assist with the internal accounting needs of the organization
- Payroll experience is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Advance knowledge in QuickBooks and Excel
